Building safety, connection and trust with trauma-experienced parents: Report (2023)
Introduction
This report shares findings from a thematic analysis of interviews with trauma-experienced mothers with experience of safeguarding involvement in relation to their children. The mothers discuss their perceptions of the working relationship with Children and Family Services and how this might be more trauma responsive. This is an important opportunity to hear directly from mothers who provide, in their own words, unique insights into the impact of trauma and their experiences of services.
